Any mid-week blues you had were probably just wiped away by Sky Ferreira's just-released music video for "I Blame Myself." (PS. You can watch the full video at Ssense.com and catch some behind-the-scenes clips below.)

The video, which marks Ferreira's fifth time working with director Grant Singer, is set in Compton with Ferreira wearing Givenchy, Saint Laurent, and Acne duds that you can shop right this very second on Ssense.com, who collaborated on the video with System magazine.

But not only can you cop Ferreira's fashion sense--you can also get her beauty look in a snap, thanks to this tips and tricks from her makeup artist Amy Chance. Read how she created a super-'70s look for Ferreira below.

"For Sky's makeup look I took inspiration from '70s punk and glam rock goddesses like Nina Hagen, Siouxsie Sioux, and Debbie Harry. Sky's character in the video is such a badass, and I wanted her makeup to match that attitude. I used MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack to create a really strong cat eye shape. I gave her a very strong, '70s-inspired cheek with Chanel Bronzing Makeup Base, and I used NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella for an intensely dramatic red lip.

The arrest and interrogation scenes in the video are a bit darker and more intense, so I changed the makeup to be darker and more intense as well.  Instead of her signature cat eye, I gave her a metallic, glossy eye using Stila Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eyeshadow in Titanium, I added sheen to her cheeks with NARS Illuminator in Orgasm, and I used NARS Velvette Matte Lip Pencil in Damned for a deeper, darker red lip."

So yeah, it's time to tape some Debbie Harry pics to your beauty mirror and get in touch with your '70s icons.
