The News: Lara Stone Makes a Comeback for Stella McCartney Fragrance
After taking a break from modeling due to her pregnancy, Lara Stone is BACK. Everyone's favorite gap-toothed Dutch supe has made her return in Stella McCartney's "Stella" fragrance campaign. I haven't even smelled the perfume, but with an ad so gorgeous, I don't even need to--I'm already sold.
The Look: Christy Turlington & Kristen Mcmenamy, 1986
As the number one office proponent of the whole baggy-on-baggy trend (there's a chic way to do it, I swear!), this is pretty much my dream weekend uniform. Easy, understated, and, as these hotties prove in this 1986 shot, suprisingly cool. Just ask anyone from Alexander Wang to Karen Walker if you still don't believe me....
The Face: Boscia Cool Blue Calming Mask, $34
It's Friday, which means that a.) you could go out and party, or b.) you could stay at home, order in food, and pamper yourself with this seriously hydrating mask. Today option b.) is sounding pretty freaking appealing, especially now that I've tried this mask from Boscia. The brand already has the whole peel-off treatment thing down (remember its black mask?), and they've taken it to the next very cool level with a refreshing twist.. But hey, even if you do decide to go out tonight, all the more reason to try it tomorrow morning.
The Inspiration: Adele Exarchopoulos' Instagram
After stalking the Blue Is The Warmest Color star on Getty for the past, oh, year, my favorite French ingenue has recently gotten on the 'gram. From behind-the-scenes snaps of award shows, weird faces, and hangtime with Lea Seydoux, it's pretty much a must-follow.
The Song: "Super Rat" by Honeyblood
If there's anybody who can make a song called "Rats" sound appealing, it's these two. (In fact, it's actually pretty?) This Glasgow duo has been churning out songs filled with pitch-perfect melodies, rosy-sounding choruses, and a minimalist pop backbone.
