Fur may have conjured images of your grandmother in floor-length minks, but real luxury isn't just for those #ThrowbackThursday moments. These days, fur is all about fashion and personal style and they’ve gone digital and headed online to prove it. And now fur even has its own super-cool hashtag.

In fact, #FurNow is the International Fur Federation's resource for anyone who loves luxe materials, reminding them that fur is for so much more than a vintage classic. It's a developing, influential industry that embraces cutting-edge technology (hello, teal tints!) and has real influencers — like Bryanboy or Gala Gonzalez—who just have a way of making 2014 a year for #FurNow.

But fashion industry insiders aren't the only people who can make fur work these days, as evident in the IFF's latest campaign which shows each of us—yes, women and men—how to make fur work right now, too.

Jackets, bags, and shawls featuring fur accents are currently hitting stores (and we all saw those incredible full-length jackets all over Fashion Month), just in time for the seasonal cool down. In fact, fur's favorite demographic includes the forward-thinking and the savvy, all of whom are excited to take the timeless trend and make it totally relevant. Just take it from people (those) who are rocking it in new ways (kind of like what you're doing with overalls, scrunchies, and jelly shoes, right?)

Fur is not just for your grandma, anymore.
