Last night marked the end of an era: After nearly 1,450 episodes of The Colbert Report, Stephen Colbert's hilarious, satirical news show has come to an end. And while we're mourning the loss of Colbert's outlandish "conservative" character, the one thing that's getting us through is the comedian's farewell, which hints at a return to the large wooden desk and features just about every major on-brand political figure, activist, film influencer, actor, and musician imaginable singing "We'll Meet Again."
Watch Jon Stewart, James Franco, Bryan Cranston, Randy Newman, Ariana Huffington, Willie Nelson, Big Bird, Jeff Daniels, J.J. Abrams, Pussy Riot, Anthony Weiner, Bob Costas, Katie Couric, Cookie Monster, Kareem Abdul-Jabaar, Doris Kearns Goodwin, Willie Nelson, Elijah Wood, Keith Olbermann, Andy Cohen, Patrick Stewart, Dan Savage, Henry Kissinger, Barry Manilow, and more bid adieu to Colbert (therefore securing their guest appearances on his next venture, The Late Show) below.
