Whew! For a show that often drags, this year's Academy Awards...flew by? Chalk it up to Ellen DeGeneres' hosting skills, the awesome performances, or the attendees themselves, but despite the fact it was three hours long, this year's Oscars went by much more quickly.Time flies when you're eating pizza and taking epic selfies, we guess.

Didn't watch? Or even if you did, we've condensed the ceremony into the 10 biggest moments you need to know. Consider this your Academy Awards cheat sheet, so let's go!

1. Ellen DeGeneres' opening monologue.
Starting the night on a high note, host Ellen DeGeneres makes digs Jared Leto, Jennifer Lawrence, and Jonah Hill--and they all seemed to love it. Her best joke, though? "It's the Hunger Games: There are cameras everywhere, you're starving, Jennifer Lawrence won last year..."

2. Pharrell's dance-off with Amy Adams, Lupita Nyong'o, and Meryl Streep.
A similar version of his Grammy's hat made a cameo, but we're more obsessed with the fact that Pharrell shimmied with Meryl Streep, body-rolled with Amy Adams, and twirled with Lupita Nyong'o.

3. Jared Leto's speech for Best Supporting Actor
The Dallas Buyers Club star thanked his mom, his brother, and had a message for everyone else: "To all the dreamers out there in the world watching this tonight, we are here...team Matthew, I love you, this is for 36 million people who have lost their life to AIDS," he said. (Also, the hair. Can we make "hombre" a thing?)

4. Jennifer Lawrence fell...again.
She was an admirable good sport when every.single.reporter on the carpet asked her about last year's spill up the stairs. But Lawrence actually fell this time around on the carpet, too. At least she's consistent!

5. Karen O. and Ezra Koenig's performance of "Moon Song."
Their performance was lovely. Especially considering the fact that Karen can rock a silk red gown sans shoes...and still look the perfect combination of glam and bohemian.

6. Ellen DeGeneres' selfies.
Only Ellen could take a blurry photo, label it #blessed, and make us love her even more. But that's nothing compared to the group pic of Meryl Streep, Jennifer Lawrence, Lupita Nyong'o, Julia Roberts, and a billion other stars. Awesome people hanging out together, indeed. P.S. Best Samsung product placement ever.

7. Pizza party!
Ellen Degeneres ordered pizza and collected the money in Pharrell's giant hat. Also, Brad Pitt distributed the plates like the gentleman he is.

8. Joseph-Gordon Levitt bowed down to Emma Watson.
For her first-ever Oscars awards, Emma Watson presented with JGL (who introduced her with a cute little bow). Celebrity dream couple? We think yes.

9. Cate Blanchett and Matthew McConaughey win big.
They both won two of the night's hugest awards, and each delivered equally awesome speeches. Blanchett called out Julia Roberts, saying "Hashtag 'suck it,' you know what I mean?" while McConaughey closed his emotional speech with "All right, all right, all right." Honestly, though, are you that surprised?

10. Lupita Nyong'o. Period.
She's gorgeous, talented, a total class act--and now, an Oscar winner. "No matter where you're from, your dreams are valid." Amen.
