we tried glossier's new face masks

Ever since Glossier's revolutionary launch in October, the sticker-coded Phase 1 set has redefined our top shelves. To refresh your memory, Into The Gloss founder Emily Weiss started her own beauty brand last year introducing luxury quality products at affordable prices. And the results have dropped a realness bomb on the beauty industry that couldn't have come at a more perfect time.

So far, Glossier has given us a priming moisturizer, a perfecting skin tint, a soothing rosewater facial mist, and our new favorite universal skin salve (preceding those fancy limited-edition liquid foil liners, if you were lucky enough to cop a pair). But now, meet their newest (and cutest) artillery in the battle for perfect skin: the Mega Greens Galaxy Pack and Moisturizing Moon Mask. With ingredient lists that cater to your skin in the perhaps the gentlest way we've ever seen, the mask duo packs cleansing and hydrating agents that truly reveal slow and steady wins the race at just $22 a pop.

The Mega Greens Galaxy Pack contains some of the beauty industry's most effective elements of the moment: leafy green phytonutrients, bitter orange peel, avocado oil and aloe, creamy white clay, and a super-fruit antioxidant blend. It "balances and conditions pores while helping to calm inflammation," in all of its creamy-yet-crunchy light green splendor. Far too often masks strip our skin of its natural oils in order to reach the depths of our miniature face craters, but this bad boy draws out those hidden impurities with ease (and just the right amount of tingle). Hot tip: This one works really well as a nightly cleanser, too!

The Moisturizing Moon Mask, on the other hand, takes the moisturizing process even deeper and leaves your skin with that dewy glow that Glossier has come to be known for. Oxygenizing agents, natural emollients (shea butter, plant-derived squalene, and sweet almond & soybean oils), licorice root, lemon extracts, hyaluronic acid (which is basically like a monsoon of holy water that floods your pores), honey, and aloe "dive deep beneath the surface to plump skin up with hydration" and "help to smooth fine lines and restore elasticity." If this sounds tasty to you, that's because it is, but please refrain from licking it off your lips in case you overdosed and masked outside the lines. And here's a trick: I like to put this one on top of the Mega Greens Galaxy Pack—after its worked its magic—to reactivate the kaolin clay once it's dried for an extra round of cleansing.

But perhaps the best part about this launch into Glossier's skin-care galaxy is the team's list of what to do during those 20 minute waiting times:
- read your horoscope
- pay some bills
- find your center
- find the remote
- watch the 'Law' half of a Law & Order episode
- take a selfie and put it out in the universe (as in Instagram)
- do absolutely nothing

Now that, people, is a to-do list we can get behind.

Click through the slideshow to get the full effect. And as an added bonus, head on over to Glossier.com to get free shipping on the masks if you purchase them together.

song premiere: summer heart "beat of your heart"

If there's anything that saves us from bleak winter days, it's a healthy injection of sunshine-powered pop—and Summer Heart's latest track "Beat of Your Heart" is just that. The Swedish one-man band of David Alexander completely exemplifies its name, dripping with bouncy basslines and chill lo-fi vocals that create a dreamy vision of summer any time of year.

"Beat of Your Heart" is the kind of song that we can already imagine blasting in our cars as we cruise down the highway to the beach, salty wind in our hair and huge smiles on our faces. Summer Heart combines twangy guitar chords faintly reminiscent of the The Beach Boys' surf vibes with a fresh mix of Balearic beats. Echoing vocals add the final touch to the upbeat groove, creating a wholly unique mashup of electronic chillwave and reverberated surf pop. From the shores of Sweden to the east and west coasts of the United States, this warm weather jam brings a little sunshine wherever it plays. It's basically an audio representation of the lomography-tinted snapshats of our summer roadtrips and rose-colored memories, and we know it will definitely help us wait out the winter cold. Get cozy, turn up the volume, and summer will be here in no time.

His upcoming EP Thinkin Of U is released April 6. Check out Summer Heart's tour dates and listen to "Beat of Your Heart" below.

emoji users have more sex?

$

The cupids over at Match, the world's largest online dating site, have released their fifth annual Singles in America survey, which polls people on tactics, techniques, and preferences in an increasingly digital dating world. There are several key takeways from the findings, and we've arranged some of the more intriguing results below. Hopefully this will guide you in your noble quest to not die alone. Here we go!

Lesson 1 - Use emojis: The survey finds that using emojis imbue your texts with more personality. And apparently, more personality leads to more sex. The numbers don't lie. The most popular emoji is the wink. Also popular is the kiss, which you may want to use a little more carefully. (Wonder where the poop ranks?)

Lesson 2 - Get online: In case you haven't noticed, the stigma of online dating is a thing of the past. The survey finds that "60% of singles are on social media sites at least 1 hour a day, while 39% of singles’ daily conversations are happening digitally." This one should be obvious.

Lesson 3 - Think before you text: Before you start blasting off a flurry of texts, consider how your actions will make you appear to the other person. Both men and women do not appreciate a second text before the first one is answered. That will make you appear desperate. Fun fact: Men, competitive blowhards that they are, do not like being texted during work because that is MAN STUFF.

Lesson 4 - Consider the selfie: Obviously you're already making sure the selfies you send are flawless, but let's narrow it down a little. 61% of the people surveyed say "the most attractive selfies are natural and unenhanced" while 39% think "the most attractive selfies are funny." Wear a clown nose, we guess?

Lesson 5 - Spellcheck: If you don't know how to spell, you might have bigger problems than being single, but FYI, misspellings nad gramatical errors is a turnn of.

Lesson 6 - George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are being exploited by this survery: In what is bafflingly being called "The Clooney Effect," the survey finds that now more than ever men are looking for smart, independent women as partners, because needy dummies are so 2014.

Anyway, say hi to your soul mate for us.

sports illustrated's swimsuit issue features its first plus-size model

It feels like major developments in body positivity are on the horizon: Last week, #effyourbeautystandards founder Tess Holliday was signed by MiLK Model Management and this morning, it was announced that Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit issue will feature its first ever plus-size model. There's only one problem with the latter: SI didn't cast the model, but rather allowed swimwear brand Swimsuits For All to place an advertisement starring plus-size model Ashley Graham.

Sports Illustrated is a brand based upon living a healthy, active life, and their annual Swimsuit Issue historically features many curvy (albeit still slim) women like Tyra Banks, Christie Brinkley, Carol Alt, and most recently, Kate Upton. And while other magazines, especially fashion magazines (NYLON included), have not made great strides in casting more full-figured women in editorials, SI has a great opportunity to feature beautiful women of all shapes and sizes. After all, the Swimsuit Issue is inarguably founded upon sex and there should never be just one way to be sexy.

That being said, the idea of a "plus-size model" is a bit disconcerting, as by industry standards, it simply means that the model is above a size 2. This makes it so that many—like Myla Dalbesio and, at times, Crystal Renn—are below-average size (in 2010, the average size for an American woman was a size 14). At the other end of the spectrum, many believe that showcasing obese men and women promotes living an unactive, unhealthy lifestyle.

The "plus-size" model is a relatively new concept and the idea of the "perfect body" is constantly evolving, so we say it's time to start showcasing vastly different bodies in a positive light. As Graham said in a press release, "I know my curves are sexy and I want everyone else to know that theirs are too. There is no reason to hide and every reason to flaunt. The world is ready for more curves in bikinis."

shawn and angela will reunite on 'girl meets world'

Listen up all Shawn and Angela fans, your dreams are about to come true. After 14 years, the super adorable Boy Meets World couple is reuniting (this is not a drill).

That’s right, Trina McGee (a.k.a. Angela Moore) is making a cameo on an upcoming episode of Disney’s follow-up series Girl Meets World. If you're not already familiar, the comedy, which debuted in June, is centered on the life of Cory and Topanga’s tween daughter, Riley Matthews, and her best friend Maya as they navigate NYC. So far, the show has given appearances by Boy Meets World alumni like Mr. and Mrs. Matthews and Mr. Feeny and promises an appearance by Eric later this season. (Cory and Topanga are main fixtures on the show.) And it seems as if a Shawn and Angela reunion is the last ingredient left to put our nostalgia into overdrive and make this one kickass episode.

Shawn (Rider Strong) has already made a few appearances on Girl Meets World, where he shows an undeniable interest in Maya’s mom. Of course, with the return of Angela, we’re prepared for Shawn to reconsider his potential love interests (we hope they get back together!).

For a little backstory: Shawn and Angela’s relationship began with Angela’s first appearance on Boy Meets World in season five. Their two and a half year relationship was a wild ride of on again off again that ended when Shawn decided to delay his proposal to Angela.

It’ll be interesting to see what Angela’s return episode has in store, since it’s been 14 years since Shawn was ready to propose to her. Their relationship may not have ended on the best note, but we’re hoping time apart has made their connection even stronger. Whether Shawn and Angela are able to rekindle an old flame or decide they hate each other, the episode, titled “Girl Meets Hurricane,” promises one hell of a reunion. Arm yourself with a box of Kleenex, and prepare for all the Shawngela feels.

Girl Meets World airs on Fridays at 8:30 p.m. on Disney Channel.

this is how much sleep you actually need

If you find yourself constantly hitting snooze and sometimes even crying when you have to wake up (or is it just me?), congratulations—you're the average human. Because unless you're exercising regularly and following a strict sleeping schedule every night, you're probably not getting enough sleep.

According to the latest National Sleep Foundation study, teenagers (14-17) require 8-10 hours of sleep per night while young adults and adults (ages 18-64) require 7-9 hours. While those aren't unreasonable numbers, given the fact that we're working longer hours than ever before, it's certainly not easy to get into bed eight hours before you wake up. Add in the various digital distractions—like swiping left to all the weirdos on Tinder and watching the most memorable MTV Unplugged performances—it seems virtually impossible. But getting the right amount of sleep helps boost your energy, health, and mood.

"Make sleep a priority," urges the NSF. "You must schedule sleep like any other daily activity, so put it on your 'to-do list' and cross it off every night." Visit NSF for better sleep tips, like turning off your electronics before bed and monitoring your bedroom's temperature, sound, and light. And hopefully you won't find yourself weeping every morning (because a quick office survey shows I'm not the only one).

Here are the new sleep requirements for every age:

Newborns (0-3 months ): Sleep range narrowed to 14-17 hours each day (previously it was 12-18)

Infants (4-11 months): Sleep range widened two hours to 12-15 hours (previously it was 14-15)

Toddlers (1-2 years): Sleep range widened by one hour to 11-14 hours (previously it was 12-14)

Preschoolers (3-5): Sleep range widened by one hour to 10-13 hours (previously it was 11-13)

School age children (6-13): Sleep range widened by one hour to 9-11 hours (previously it was 10-11)

Teenagers (14-17): Sleep range widened by one hour to 8-10 hours (previously it was 8.5-9.5)

Younger adults (18-25): Sleep range is 7-9 hours (new age category)

Adults (26-64): Sleep range did not change and remains 7-9 hours

Older adults (65+): Sleep range is 7-8 hours (new age category)

Dear '90s: Take a seat. It's the '70s time to shine. The spring runways were jam-packed with flares, jewel tones, and—our personal favorite trend—fringe. There is something about fringe that adds the right amount of bohemian whimsy to any springtime outfit. We've rounded up some hippie-inspired options, stemming from subtle fringe details to full hanging suede, to help you channel your inner Joni Mitchell. So, turn on some Fleetwood Mac and get to shopping.

Remember when Kim Kardashian "broke the internet?" Well, Jimmy Fallon just put it in a coma. The undisputed king of viral content just outdid himself—and everyone else, frankly—by recreating Saved By the Bell with most of the original cast members in a glorious, mind warping, time traveling, eight minute sketch. Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Mario Lopez, Tiffani Thiessen, Elizabeth Berkley, and Dennis Haskins—that's Zack, Slater, Kelly, Jessie, and Mr. Belding to you—all showed up on The Tonight Show to reprise their roles in what will easily be one of the most talked about late night moments of the decade. (Dustin Diamond and Lark Voorhies couldn't make it for obvious reasons.) We'd say more, but this clip—packed with references to iconic SBTB references—pretty much speaks for itself. Wow.

blake anderson has life all figured out

$

As one third of Comedy Central’s boozy Workaholics (alongside Adam DeVine and Anders Holm), Blake Anderson has a reputation for being a bit of a party animal. But Anderson, who in real life is married with a child, is anything but a slacker. For starters, Workaholics is now in its fifth season and has become one of TV's most reliable comedies thanks to its irreverent plotlines centering around three manchildren as they attempt (and fail) to act like adults. In addition, Anderson and his wife, Rachael Finley, are the masterminds behind an equally irreverent '90s-inspired clothing line dubbed Teenage that launched in 2013. And as if that weren’t enough, Anderson's new movie Dope, a vibrant comedy about music nerds navigating the rough streets of Inglewood, California, just sold at Sundance for seven million bucks is primed to be a breakout hit when it's released this summer. Fresh from Sundance, we spoke to Anderson about life as a comedy star (free shots!), sharing the stage with Broad City, and why being bored is the best thing that ever happened to him.

How’s it going man? Where are you right now?
I’m in beautiful Los Angeles, California.

Oh man, the city of dreams.
It truly is. Go out and catch it.

I know you just got back from Sundance, where your movie Dope was a huge hit.
It was my first-ever Sundance experience and I was saying to myself, "Is this how it's supposed to go?" Everything fell into my lap. It was basically me getting free stuff all day and then the movie getting picked up. I can’t complain.

I haven’t seen the movie, but it looks amazing. It even has A$AP Rocky in it.
It was quite random. We actually met up at Sundance. Every time you meet rappers, you just hope they’re not total dickheads hardened by the streets, but he was actually a really cool dude. Offered to smoke me up and everything. That’s a cool homie right there.

Tell me about who you play in Dope.
In the movie, these kids from Inglewood stumble upon a brick of good molly and they don’t really know what to do with it. I explain to them that the way to get rich nowadays is to sell drugs online. So I’m kind of like the mad genius behind the internet hustle game.

Every time I see you doing press, whether it’s at Sundance or what not, you’re always looking pretty fresh. Then I find out that the reason for this freshness is that you run a clothing line with your wife inspired by the '90s?
Yessir! It’s called Teenage and it’s kind of just a new endeavor for me. We started it in 2013 so we’re pretty new in the game. It’s a lot of fun and just something I’ve always liked.

What was the idea behind it?
I was sort of pulling from my teenage years. Growing up in the '90s had such a wealth of creative and zany stuff.

What were you like as a teenager?
I was like everybody else: very bored. But when people hear the word “bored” they think of it negatively, but I don’t think of it like that. Boredom is kind of the seed of creativity. When you have nothing to do, you start to really think outside of your box. That’s when me and my buddies started to pick up a video camera and started filming, whether it was an original short or a public access backyard wrestling show. As a teenager, I had a pretty tight crew of like seven dudes and we always tried to stay busy. We rode scooters we modified or were always doing some random project.

Did you have that long curly hair of yours when you were a teen?
It was curly but it wasn’t quite as long. I had more of an afro. I don’t know, I was kind of scared since my dad didn’t want me to have long hair, so every time there was a school photo day I’d go back to square one.

I read on Wikipedia, which is never wrong, that at one point you were peer pressured into cutting those amazing locks. Is that correct?
That would be one of those false Wikipedia write-ups. I don’t know how that got in there. No, the only person who would pressure me to cut my hair would be my father, but other than that nobody got me to cut my hair. I actually went out of my way to keep it. When I moved to L.A., I was doing pizza delivery at a nice restaurant called BJ’s and they said that my hair couldn’t touch my shoulders, so I’d wake up 30 minutes early just to pin my hair up. I looked really stupid, like Thomas Jefferson, but at least at the end of the day I could pull the bobby pins out and let the mane flow, you know what I mean?

Of course! Let’s talk about Workaholics. It’s been fun to watch this show grow to its current status as a crown jewel of Comedy Central’s schedule, especially being paired up with Broad City on Wednesday nights.
I think you’re right. I’m not sure I’m using the word correctly, but there’s definitely a sweet synergy going on Wednesday night between us and Broad City. I’ve been watching their episodes and I’m very pleased with their work. I think they’re really bringing it this season and coming into their own with their characters and I’m laughing along with them. For Workaholics, we’re doing a lot of the same. We’re just the same stupid three dudes and it almost feels like we’re the last of the bro breed. The girls have the stage with comedy now, but we’re still bringing that male-centric stoner-drunk vibe, and we’ll keep making them until they tell us to stop.

I know you and the guys ascended the show-business ladder together and work on this show together, but how often do you actually party together? And who throws the party?
Now that none of us live together it’s a revolving door. The Super Bowl was at my house, Adam likes to throw those late night after parties when the bar closes, and Anders is the barbecue dude. We just had a wrap party where we all got drunk together. Sometimes I trip out on our friendship because we’ve been together for eight or nine years now and dude, that’s a long time for anybody to be in a relationship with anybody. We really maintained a good friendship without any big bumps, and I think that’s because it’s all about the team. We all break off and do our own stuff and nobody gets mad about being a solo star too, but there’s always that rock, that friendship. I don’t think that’ll ever change. It just gets cooler with time.

When you three guys walk into a bar together, do people flip out?
It’s madness. It always is. When we’re in a college town and we walk into a bar it’s just a hurricane of shots and pitchers. It’s definitely a force to be reckoned with. We’re still learning the balance of it. You can’t take every shot that’s offered to you. And if you end up doing that, just hope that one of your boys is going to carry you home.

johnny depp and amber heard have major relationship news

For months, we've been hearing negative rumor after negative rumor about Johnny Depp and Amber Heard: Heard wasn't happy about Depp's drunken speech; the couple was having intense arguments; their relationship was just going to fizzle out... But it all goes to show that you can't believe everything you read. As People reports, the couple got married yesterday at their Los Angeles home.

The couple first met while filming The Rum Diary in 2011. Shortly after splitting with his long-time partner Vanessa Paradis, Depp and Heard got engaged during the holiday season of 2012.

People also reports that a larger, more lavish wedding will happen this weekend on Little Hall's Pond Cay, Depp's private island in the Bahamas. We predict a lot of rum, a little tinge of claymation, and hopefully a ceremony ordained by Depp's longtime friend and collaborator Tim Burton.

Congratulations Amber and Johnny!

rihanna swims with the sharks

Rihanna has always seemed fearless to us, whether she’s rocking the most glamorous naked dress ever at the CFDA Awards or tweeting what she really thinks—so it’s no surprise that her latest cover shoot involves something even the biggest daredevils are wary of: sharks. And not the cute, oddly sad plush versions that appeared in another pop star’s Super Bowl performance—ahem, Katy Perry.

For Harper’s Bazaar’s March 2015 issue, our favorite bad girl takes to the water wearing a Chanel swimsuit to hang out with three eight-foot-long sand tiger sharks. Conceived as a way to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Jaws, the shoot also has a bit of a metaphorical side. While the Barbadian songstress certainly is no stranger to the sea, the shoot at the Florida Aquarium meant to show the pop star in a setting not unlike the music industry: a tank full of sharks. Yet Rihanna contended that she sees things differently, saying, “I try my best to avoid the sharks of life, but I have had my share of experiences with them, and in those cases I just have to handle them accordingly. But I do not swim with sharks… Sharks swim with sharks.”

Whether she’s recording music with some guy named Paul McCartney or diving deep, Rihanna really knows how to make a splash—and how to look better than anyone else while doing it. See the full photo shoot at Harper's Bazaar.

watch natalie portman ruin a dream wedding

Sometimes, even a beautiful lace Dior gown and a chateau wedding isn't enough to make you happy. At least, that seems to be the point of Natalie Portman's latest Miss Dior campaign video.

Directed by Anton Corbijn, the minute-and-a-half-long clip shows Portman getting cold feet. Before making it all the way to the rose-walled altar, "Miss" Portman turns to her father, apologizes, calmly walks right back down the aisle, and escapes to the lush countryside. Whether or not this is partly because her groom never even bothered to turn around to watch Portman (he certainly doesn't run after her), or because she forgot her veil, we'll never know. But it most likely has something to do with the gorgeous helicopter-wielding model that comes to her rescue.

band crush: leaf

The hip-hop factory otherwise known as New York City produces rappers at an industrial pace. Its latest creation is Leaf, a rapper whose dark-toned music has the potential to break out big in 2015. Recently signed to Fool's Gold Records, Leaf just put out her debut EP, Magnet Bitch, a profane record that combines grit with flash, and showcases her double-threat status: Yes, Leaf can spit, but she's also got an angelic singing voice. Let's get to know her a little better.

How would you describe your aesthetic?
I would say my aesthetic musically is future R&B. R&B isn't what it used to be and I think that needs to recognized. My fashion aesthetic at the moment is pin-up retro goth. I pull a lot of inspiration from Pulp Fiction, Scarface, and Kill Bill.

How did your career get started?
I've been making music my whole life but I would say I started to take it seriously at 14. I started recording out of my friend's closet in the Lower East Side/Chinatown and putting my music on Myspace. That's how I started my buzz around New York as well as throwing parties. However, I don't think I found my sound until very recently with Magnet Bitch.

Where do you hope to be professionally in 5 years?
I hope to have established my brand, made my stamp on the world, inspire girls across the world to achieve their goals, and spread love, 'cause you know it's the Brooklyn way.

What’s your next project?
I just put out my project Magnet Bitch which is a short EP of counteractive music. By that I mean everyone is saying the same thing, degrading women, "it ain't nothin to cut that bitch off," "these hoes ain't loyal,"... I created the alternative version of that. "N*ggas be thinking they slick, that's why they all on my dick." My next project is going to be my first album, that's all I can say right now.

What are you most proud of so far in terms of your career?
I can't pinpoint what I'm most proud of right now because I still feel I have much to accomplish before I can pat myself on the back, but everyday that I wake up I'm proud I've made it as far as I have.

What famous person dead or living do most wish you could have as a roommate?
I don't know about roommate but I'd have Jimi Hendrix's child. He's the reason I started playing guitar when I was younger and is still one of my greatest inspirations. After a bad day I always come home and listen to some Hendrix.

What is your favorite driving music?
I love all of the music coming out of the South right now. However, my music taste is versatile, I don't like listening to the same thing everyday. Always gotta change it up.

Whose career would you most like to emulate?
There's no career that I want to emulate, I think I'm the first of my kind. However, I have to pay dues to any successful woman that has come before me because they've paved the way for me to spread my message to the world.

If you had to live in a past time, what do you think would be the most fun era and why?
I love the era I grew up in (the '90s) however, if I had to choose it would definitely the '60s and '70s. It would be a difficult time to grow up but the unity, love, fight for change, and psychedelic culture has always inspired me.

What activities do you most enjoy doing alone?
I really like to move solo, so I enjoy doing most things alone.

How do you wind down before bed?
Most nights I fall asleep creating, but when I get the luxury of winding down before bed I like to play the ocean waves and try to meditate. My grandma lives right on the water in Puerto Rico so it reminds me of falling asleep to the waves.

When are you most relaxed?
I try to wake up everyday around the sunrise and meditate. That's the only time I get time to myself some days.

What kind of person were you in high school?
I was more of a quiet rebel. A lot of people hated me because they didn't know me and I didn't open up about anything. I was pretty much infamous for being a bad kid. I got arrested from school when I was 16. A lot of people probably didn't see how successful I was going to be mostly because I was caught up doing a lot of dumb shit, hanging out in Union Square and Brooklyn. In reality though, I was just struggling to express myself, all I wanted to do was music, and school wasn't where I was making any so I wasn't in school you know.

Can you tell me a quality about yourself that you are genuinely proud of?
I'm proud of my ability to turn down what I don't deserve and my patience to wait for what I do.

Do you have any phobias?
Mold and maggots.

What’s a serious side of you that people are unlikely to know about? Either in terms of interests, hobbies, or personality?
I really like to watch anime and read books.

What are some new hobbies you would like to take on?
I want to learn how to drive. I mean I know how but that will probably be my next hobby after I get my license.

What are some of your favorite Internet “memes” of all time?
I seen this meme the other day that said, "Change the A in bae to a Y real quick." I was rolling.

How do you hope to grow as a creative person?
I want to continue to expand my sound and spread my message to girls around the globe. I feel like there aren't enough females in the music industry for girls like me. Before we had Erykah Badus, Lauryn Hills, Aaliyahs and Missy Elliots. I just want to keep their legacy alive by creating my own and allow girls a space to be a little more then average.

If there was a phrase that you think best sums up your approach to life what might it be?
"The most courageous act is still to think for yourself. Aloud." - Coco Chanel

did angel haze and ireland baldwin just break up?

Don't look at Angel Haze's Twitter unless you want to feel like crying: Barely a day after releasing a way-too-cute song about her relationship with Ireland Baldwin, her Tweets got heavy. Like, really heavy.

As Autostraddle pointed out, the first tweet in this super-sad, heartbreaking series has since been deleted. It read, "lol at my life break up with someone immediately after u put out a love song about them. looool gonna go cry forever." This statement, aside from being the ultimate "lolcry," pretty much confirms it—but the fact that it was deleted gave us pause. Maybe they got back together shortly thereafter? Young love does tend to be tumultuous.

However, Haze quickly returned to the internet to tweet her heart out:

Ireland, for her part, has kept quiet on social media (not hard to do considering her Instagram has vanished). Breaking up right before Valentine's Day definitely sucks, but maybe the fact that Haze is dropping a highly anticipated album this weekend might cheer her up. It'll at least be something to do other than scrolling through old Instragram photos.

kendall jenner freed the nipple

While sister Kim nearly #BrokeTheInternet going full monty with a bum-centric cover shoot for Paper magazine, it seems as if Kendall Jenner is trying a different route—or body part: boobs.

In the latest issue of Love magazine (in which Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner also appear), the 19-year-old model goes topless in a leaked editorial most eloquently titled “Boobs.” Note: this isn’t the first time we’ve seen Jenner’s breasts, as she wore a sheer top in the Marc Jacobs Fall 2014 runway show, but it is her most exposed photo shoot to date, as she poses completely shirtless and frontal.

The photoshoot is definitely statement-making and even potentially empowering. Jenner poses topless of her own accord and does so in a way that makes her look strong and confident. She does not cater to any sort of male gaze. Whether she is the latest proponent of #FreetheNipple, or is simply embracing her body a la Willow Smith, the model’s toplessness seems to make fun of society’s taboo on female nipples. It’s provocative because society thinks that nipples are provocative—that’s all.

Still, while the nudity in the photos is completely deliberate, but we can’t help but notice that something is just a bit off. The reality-star-turned-model’s breasts seem to have been digitally enhanced to be larger and perkier in an overtly artificial way. Photoshopped or not, we’re intrigued to see how 2015 becomes a year where nipples are free to be.

Lily Collins' new film, Love, Rosie, opens tomorrow. Featuring best friends who are maybe secretly in love with each other and a lifelong curse of bad timing, it looks to be the kind of gushy romance that we will definitely cry during. We caught up with Lily to ask her all about it—read our interview, below.

That scene where the condom comes off…
"That was a scene they wanted to maybe cut. I think it’s something that’s so important to have in there because I’ve not seen a scene like that before, especially not one that’s geared to a young audience. But it’s something that is extremely relatable because it’s so awkward but it’s something that’s taboo. It’s one of those things that happen that people don’t talk about. It’s something humorous and relatable and I fought to keep that in."

How did you prepare for playing a mom?
"For the birthing part there was actually a real midwife on set so she could talk me through that process. For being a young mom, I kind of just referenced my mom in my relationship. I’m really, really close to my mom. And I saw her as such a vibrant young spirit when I was growing up and I really just tried to channel the relationship that we had and still have."

What about handling the kids on set?
"When we’re walking out the door with the bedframe attached to me I by accident kept hitting her on the head with the frame. That was an iron bedframe. They kept in that moment. She was terrified I was going to keep doing it every time. I did it like three times and her dad was on set. And I was so embarrassed. And he’s like, don’t worry, she hits herself all the time."

Did you have any frenemies like in the movie?
"There were girls in high school that aren’t very nice and they’re the popular girls and you’re like I don’t really have time for that. I never really felt the need to try to befriend people that I thought were not into me as a friend. I feel lucky that my closest friends are actually still from high school and some from college."

How hard is it to find the right guy?
"I always think that everything happens for a reason. Sometimes it takes knowing what you don’t want to know what you do want, meeting the wrong person to know what the right person would be like. And that’s life. You have to go through these things to find the right person to find your right path in life. It’s not the decision that defines who you are, it’s how you deal with them, the repercussions and how you come out of that. You learn different things about yourself by looking at the people that you choose to surround yourself with, relationships and friends. And I think you can only attract the right people when you know who you are. It’s like they say you accept the love you think you deserve. Until you know what you want and who you are the right people won’t be attracted to you."

Have you had your heart broken like in some of the break-up scenes?
"I’ve been disappointed by people and I tend to kind of move through things quietly and to myself as opposed to vocalizing it. I think we’ve all had situations where we thought it was the end of the world when you have a break up but then you think, okay, where do I go from here? I can’t wallow in this for too long. You’ve got to pick yourself up and figure out what it is you can learn from it and move on. Those are the defining moments as a young woman, as a woman, those things never go away."

Wide brim hats have garnered a lot of attention lately, due in large part to the rise of festival fashion and, of course, Pharrell. Still, despite the thousands of options currently available, finding a wide brim hat that's both flattering and stylish is a challenge. The trick is to find the perfect width: If the brim is too small, it will look like your middle school-era fedora; if it's too wide, you may look like you're at the Kentucky Derby.
